"2017 marks Canada's 150'th birthday and I started re-recording Steal The Thunder in a lower key because I can't sing that high anymore... it's taken me 3 years to get all the new voices and I'm proud and grateful to all the singers, a huge Thank you to:

Canada is the GREATEST country in the world! Everyone has brought so much to it. If we all share our knowledge with each other, stand united, we will be the strongest and richest people.

Steal the Thunder is a song, inviting all the people of Canada to share the Universal Language of music, to express their pride in our great country.

When we look at another person, let's not judge them for what’s different about them. All people have something special to bring to Canada, a truly multicultural country.

Special thanks to the City of Quesnel, West Fraser Timber Mills and all the mills for sponsoring our Canada Day Entertainment, The Observer, & the CRD   and all our sponsors for keeping  our Canada Day  Celebration alive!

If you listen close in the original 1991 version you will hear representatives from eight cultures singing in their native language. In order of

performance: Vito Nevoral—Croation, Cyril Weeratange—Srilankan, Rick Cunningham—Native Cree, Brian Pickering & Carol Adams—English, Baltez Dhillon—Punjab, Crystal Pine—French, Mikiye Chalmers—Japanese, and Enrique Sanchez—Spanish."
